Granite est la premi\u00e8re pi\u00e8ce du nouveau \u00ab Triptyque gothique bor\u00e9al \u00bb de Mishka Lavigne. Couvrant tout le pays, ce triptyque explore les tensions et l\u2019angoisse qui r\u00e8gnent entre le surnaturel, la nature et les structures humaines. D\u2019une vieille maison d\u00e9labr\u00e9e o\u00f9 vit une lign\u00e9e de femmes sur plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations \u00e0 un p\u00e8re et sa fille dans une tour de guet au bord d\u2019un lac, en passant par un botaniste dans une station de recherche du Nord \u2013 les feux br\u00fblent, le pass\u00e9 hante, et l\u2019obscurit\u00e9 du d\u00e9but de l\u2019hiver menace de tout ensevelir sous la neige.<\/p>\n

Il y a la maison dans la for\u00eat, o\u00f9 habitent les femmes. Il y a la carri\u00e8re de laquelle on arrache des pierres, o\u00f9 travaillent les hommes. Il y a l\u2019orignale blanche, entre les arbres. Et il y a celle qui dispara\u00eet.<\/p>\n

Murs<\/em>, produit en format balado par Transistor M\u00e9dias, Cr\u00e9ations In Vivo et le Th\u00e9\u00e2tre populaire d\u2019Acadie s\u2019est attir\u00e9 des honneurs en France, et sera port\u00e9 \u00e0 la sc\u00e8ne en 2023.<\/p>\n

Mishka \u00e9crit aussi en anglais. Son texte Albumen<\/em>, produit par TACTICS en 2019 (Ottawa), est r\u00e9cipiendaire du QWF Playwriting Prize et on a r\u00e9cemment pu voir Shorelines (TACTICS) en 2023.<\/p>\n

Autant vers le fran\u00e7ais que vers l\u2019anglais, Mishka signe pr\u00e8s d\u2019une vingtaine de traductions de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, de prose et de po\u00e9sie.<\/p>\n
